I am creating AI-generated works of art based on traditional Japanese history and mythology, aiming to showcase their beauty and unique worldview. These pieces capture the nostalgic and fantastical elements of Japanese history and mythology through a contemporary lens, preserving the essence of the Japanese spirit.

Just over a year ago a dear friend introduced me to AI art. From that moment on a new world opened up to me. The great community of the AI art generator I used taught me a lot. Even if that meant swallowing my pride and being taught and motivated by very enthousiastic and very patient teenagers who kept movitating me. Slowly I learnt which does get harder as you grow older. So when this oppertunity arose I grabbed it and ran with it. What a lovely idea to combine a pop up exhibit with AI Art. This really resembles the new world. I feel so priviliged to be part of that development. 

The list of requirements created some challenges not having a clue what it all meant but with a bit of help from my dear friends and a lot of help from the organisation and especially Kazuyoshi Suga who helpt me lift my knowledge and understanding of AI art to a completely new level. I very much want to thank him for helping me open this new door. Where in the first two phases of my life I was more a generalist and liked everything, now entering the third phase of my life, I can firmly state I have a passion I love and it is called AI art. I love AI's quirckiness and I have so much fun with it. It has really changed my life.
